Barry Tivin Community Service Award
The Barry Tivin Community Service Award has been established to mark the untimely passing of Barry Tivin: a dear friend, former President, and Chair of the Brandeis Association.
We honor the spirit and memory of Barry each year as we recognize a member of the Brandeis community who evinces and exemplifies Barry’s spirit of community service and activism.

The Tivin award is now an arm of the Brandeis Scholarship Fund and is presented each year at our scholarship brunch.
The Brandeis Association is proud to have presented the 2022 Barry Tivin award to Jay Abrahams, Esq., a past President of Brandeis and longtime employee of the Court system who was a valued law secretary to various Justices of the Supreme Court.
